Mission resetting

I had a career in which I made it to mission 12. Saved the game after refitting at Pearl. Put out to sea headed to Honshu with the mission of transporting agents for insertion.

I make it as far as Midway and get an error message.

Silent Hunter 4 has encountered a problem and must shut down. If you were in the middle of something we apologize.

Well, after trying to play the game a number of times, with the same result, I thought it was a game problem and deleted the Trigger Maru game. (I have SH4 devided into 2 games, one stock, and one Trigger Maru)

Then I reloaded the Trigger Maru game. I made it to mission 10, same objectives. And guess what?

It happened again.

My solution to the problem was to load the mission again, and instead of trying to run the mission, I docked instead.

This seemed to have worked.

Anybody else had or having this problem?
