RSRD,,any possilbe updates?

Thought I read somewhere RSRD was being upgraded...is this rumor? I think the guy probably meant RFB or WClears env. mod.

One thing I would love to see with the next mod is some idle dd's sitting among all the stationary targets that sit in harbors,,so harbor raping would have some skill to it. As I see it, stationary targets will never move, but seems possilbe to put some idle dd's near the stationary targets...or at least some roaming dd's that will attack.

I love sinking 100K tons just sitting there as much as the next guy, but I find it rather silly that you can sink half a jap fleet while they sit there. You can take all day if you want. Even the dd's that you get past don't come in and hunt you down, even though they should be able to see the flames from 5 miles away.

Some added mines and sub nets would also make it more worthwhile. We need to put an end to easy harbor raping...most unrealistic part of the game.

Other than slightly nosing into a few open harbors, harbor raids didn't really happen in RL.

The simple solution is to make the choice not to engage in entirely unrealistic behaviors

Idle DDs are in stock or at least on one occasion.

Rabual Jan. 1944 photo recon. out of Brisbane.

I took out 2 DDs patrolling the entrance and then did a radar check of the harbor.
Saw the 2 CVs I was supposed to photo and 2 DDs. An Akizuki near the point and a Mutsuki in the outer harbor. I causally fired a Mk 14 at the Akizuki and was very supprised to see it take off like a jack rabbit. It took a bit of manuvering to take him out with a DTT shot. I was more carful the the Mutsuki.

So there are some out there.

Don't usealy play stock but was trying out Websters Speed and Manuvering Mod.
