Default How can I dive really deep with the type 21?

Ahoj out there!

As seen in the title, I would like to know how I can dive deeper than those clickable 260 meters on the little gauge in the main menu. Is it possible to type in the depth? My type 21 shoud withstand 300 meters (more or less) - but how do I get there?

Thanx for your support!

The "D" key starts the boat diving and the "A" key stops the dive so just press D until you reach your desired depth and press A to level off.

Just don't forget you've pressed D and ramp up the TC!!!!

I believe the stock game limmits most subs to 178 or 220 (in the sub zon) meters... and the sub cfg limmit 300 meters

I've used crush depth tools to alter this to more realistic stats also SH commander does this for you as well..
the Type 7c41 and type XXI both have crush depths of 350 meters max.. you mat startto take damage at 330-340 meters.

I've changed my Type 21 from 350 to 280 at times, as some of those 21's were not weilded up right and tests showed after war they would emplode or bust at 280..
I'm sure there was a few that was put togethr right.. or maybe thew capt had the crew inspect and ttighten up (weild up) any suspicious spots inside or out.

. but I'm sure as a whole, the type 7c/41 was the deepest diving sub to enter service in WWII for Germany or any nation most likely.
I have read/heard of actual reports or a type VIIC (not a 41) to go as deep as 340 meters..
I thougt the type 21 had a 400 meter guage??

good hunting

If you go here you can see what the Kriegsmarine actually had their U-boats crush depth rated at.
