Uberboat ?

Is there an "Uberboat" mod for SHIV like in SHIII ? I am a cheater at heart. I play to win (without loses) , losing my men within a game is "ALMOST" as unacceptable as in real life. Death is a gift for the enemy to enjoy.

Happy New Year To All.. And To All A Good Fight..

That was just an experiment with the guns

By editing the appropriate files you can allow any gun to be installed at any position, for example like this:

Der Fleet-Flak(only twin 20 mms) No action shots, but I assure you aircraft are not a problem as long as you have ammo

I have to admit, mods like these are fun in their own right.

I'd be lying if i said i never made a global thermal nuclear torpedo, or make a submarine skip accross the water like a speedboat with a dire need for a down draft air wing. Compared to my unpublished shennanigans, the uberboat looks historical!

Default Functional ??

Is it really that easy to edit ? Do these weapons REALLY work in game or are they just "eye candy" ? If it is that easy to do ? How ? I am a NERD I havent even updated my GWX 1.02 to GWX 2 yet, because I dont want to mess up what I have. I just found out there is an update lastnite after making a donation to subsim & found an email from them this AM. I DLed their inst. but I have to go to work (uhg) in an hour & wont git home till about 8:00 am (about 16 hrs).

In the case of shIV it is easier to a certain extent than SH3
if you go back up to my screenies they are largely of a gun
trials test to make sure they are working and although in
none of the pics there the twin forties dont appear to be
being fired I just didnt get a screenie of that all the guns
I mounted worked fine.
