Hello everyone.
Have been trying to find if you can see position in longitud/latitud, like in the radiomessages you get in GWX. I know these messages are only eyecandy and its not those positions I want, I just want to see where I am... (working at sea it´s fun to patrol the area I´m currently in, sort of) Anyway, is there a mod which makes this available? Also, thanks for a good forum, I usually find the answers here anyway! |

There is no mod that I am aware of, but there are a few Kriegsmarine MarinenQuadrat to Lat/Lon converters out there.

Each degree in lattitude and longitude is 120km. So you can measure from the Greenwich meridian and equator. But there are also markers at the edge of the map (just like real maps), in alternating black and white colored bands that mark where degrees cross over into the next. But the degree interval changes dependend on zoomlevel.

Did look at the converter, looks nice. Will also check the grids next time I play, but it seems my laptop have developed some kind of problem... Time for service I think, can´t load my career anymore.
Thanks a lot! |
