Default faster flak guns

i have asked this many timesbefore, how do you change the speed of the flak guns?

its more realistik to have them faster.

1. once you put a magazine in, thats it you dont have to manually load shells, so it should be faster.
2. how hard is it to ask someone to grab some magazines while you fire?

thank you

You can set the reloading times with SH3commander

Not the flak guns, only the deck gun.

Magicsub2, I've never paid much attention, because I never use them unless I absolutely can't dive from a plane, though I have used them on ocassion against ships, which I suppose is why you're asking.

How fast is realistic? I don't know. It's either a drum or a belt, so it should take at least a few seconds. Other than that I can't help. It's been almost forty years since I shot a belt-fed machine gun, and we didn't shoot more than one in practice and were in no hurry to reload when we did.

neither
It's a clip (one huge heavy clip) see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bu...lings-Flak.jpg

never mind the Vierling mount, it's the same gun (the 2cm c/30 FLAK, the same cannon used on our boat's tower).

Cool! Now I have to wonder as well - exactly how long did they take to change?

yeah, maybe this could actually be some new historical thing and someone digs up something cool. need to ask one of the real u boat men. but in the gwx manual it says that its way faster. (page 55 i think)

the flack gun was magazine fed. and the mg34s (some u boats had 2 along with 2 flak guns, a deck gun and heavy flack up back ) that some u boats had where belt fed. im not sure whether there where any u boat weapons drum fed.
