Default Noob modder questions

I recently opened up the campaign files and the mission editor and sort of caught the 'bug' to mod the bejeezes out of them.

1. Answered this one myself.

2. Can you delete stuff in the three campaign files using the mission editor once they have been put in? I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

1. Can you use the mission editor to add stuff to the RND, LND, SCR files to use during a career? I see you can generate random groups in all of them but that's not what I want to do. Well, other than in the RND file that is.

Yes you can add stuff through mission ed - is the way all new stuff is usually added
If you are going to add anything always make sure you are in port first and make a back up
.

Example: I'm mostly having issues with the LND file. I wanted to add German airfields in a few places to simulate at least some LW presence, maybe. I also want to delete one or two British airfields. I can't figure out how to do either.

Open the file in mission ed
click on the one you want to delete and press " delete " on the keyboard

Answers in yellow
ALWAYS be in port before making changes and make a back up first

I have pristine files hidden away in my computer for that very reason.

I'm just having fun now with it. I've set up German airbases that move throughout the war following the 'path' of KG40. So now when I send those contact reports in someone might actually show up. If I could figure out how to use Sub commander to randomize the chance they appear that would be great.

I've also started to write in the Battle of Britain. I doubt I'll ever see them attack the ports but now and again I might catch'em fly overhead on their way to the English coast.

My other passion is WWII aviation. Can you tell?
