Default recommend sound mod?

There's quite a few sound mods out there. Can anyone recommend any? I was looking at Thomsen's, but then saw Poul sound mod and a few others.

I'm pretty new to this modding business. I thought once I'd installed GWX3.0 that was all I'd bother withm but Thomsen's sound mod does sound (no pun intended) great. One thing though, if I install it and get unexpected issues, can I simply disable it with JSGME (or whatever you call it) and carry on? I don't get much time to pay SH3 and I'm itching to get out on my first career rather than wind up having to do a lot of troubleshooting.

Or, if you're a Das Boot fan, you might try this:
