Default Commander causing CTD?!

Before using cmndr I never got any CTD's when loading a saved game when submerged or when near land, but now that I use it,I get them all the time(Very annoying,I had an in-game CTD yesterday When I was safe outside of dunkirk after sinking 20k ton,and the only SG that seems to work is from a (Ingame) couple of hours before.

Am I seeing ghosts here,or is this a know problem caused by Commander?

SH3 Commander is one of the most stable mods around so it's unlikely to be causing your CTDs - it's more likely to be a conflict with a combination of mods.

We need more info - OS, RAM, graphics card, version of SH3, supermods and any activated mods will help us out.

I use Commander all the time with no problems, as do many others. I agree with WB - it's probably one mod conflicting with another.

One thought though: Are you using GWX? If so, did you load the proper .cfg files into Commander? Each GWX version comes with its own set of files for Commander, and it may be the cause of the problem if you didn't put them in.

List your mods and what version of the game your playing.

A CTD 'ingame' usually means there is an id conflict when two separate vessels come into rendering range.

9 out of 10 times the problem is stareing you right in the face.

If you can't see it try, a mirror.

Specs: XP SP3
1GB RAM
3Ghz Intel Dual Core
6700XL 128MB(Factory OC'ed 6600GT by Medion)
Specs aren't the problem. Steady 50-100 fps, though with dips when lots of ships on screen, explosions etc..

Mods: GWX 3.0
Enchanched Damage FX(Perhaps turning this off will help,I'l go and find out)
Interegated Orders
Open Hatch
Lifeboat&Debris v3B
Cpt. America's officer Icons
Alternative loadscreen

Patch 1.4 ofcourse.

I guess it's just Dunkirk. I'l try to resist going to free view and enjoying the spectacle.

And I didn't do **** with those cfg. files, just installed Cmndr and started playing(I really like this mod though,I <3 no fatigue)
