Three game hours ago, I found a small freighter off Hull and sent an eel into him. He was hit in the engine room and sunk fifteen minutes later. Yet now he ISN'T listed in my log as a victim and on the map there ISN'T a mark that shows his place of sinking. Impossible that he sunk due to weather 'cause it's clear with slight wind and calm sea, I was his killer without any doubt.

I did it in quite shallow waters so his tip of the bow remained above sea level, is this the reason?

I had this same problem in Gib harbour, i sent four eels into HMS Nelson and she sank but 1/4 of her was still sitting out of the water and so i never recieved the credit etc for sinking her, shame but just one of those things you have to get over i suppose.

The only positive way of knowing if you get the credit for the kill is when you receive the "She's going down" message.
