Default My 5 year old Type 7

Was in a rough waters with her a few weekends back. A friend took these pictures and the ones in calm seas I took.

She's got a ballast system and dives static. One of the first subs I ever built and one of my best still. Certainly a favorite. The other one is a Verne Nautilus I scratch built.

The type 7 is a converted Revell.

Thanks very much!

It does take that but the reward is the darn fantasy. I can actually claim to be a U-boat driver. LOL

I have a Seaview I just finished last year. Working on a Gato and plan a rather large Type 7 later this year.

The German U-boats will always be my favorite.

Very cool. The Nautilus model is also very nice looking, is it also RC-controlled or just a static model?

Well with the WTC and electronics they can very from a few 100 to a grand or more. The Revell conversion was about 450 in the end I guess.

BTW. Sorry to hear about your Dog. I just love my black lab mix Phooka. She's 14 now. She's not my first. And not the last either. But I know what you went through and it's not easy to do the way you did.

Good on you. There's no better place for them to leave this Earth then in your arms.

Very cool pictures The Seaview almost looks like some kind of sea creature when it's submerged.
