Default system requirement questions

I was just wondering about the system requirements of silent hunter 4. I'm not a computer whiz or a big gamer. It say the minimum ram for this game is 1 gig (which is what my computer has), but that 2 gigs is recommended. How will this affect the game?

Definitely use 2 gigs.... It allows the sim to write more game data to memory instead of the HD and speeds it up measurably...

you will have slow periods when the game has a lot of AI generated stuff going on, it can be annoying (sometimes it can get as bad as 1 or 2 fps) but the game catches up after a few seconds. the video card needs to be decent as well to avoid issues. the ubm ad-on v1.5 makes the game run better and faster on lesser systems so it will help a lot if you have a marginal system.

you will wish you had the 2 gigs of ram for sure so that would be best if you can afford it.

Default 2 is the magic number

A minimum of a 2Ghz CPU and 2Gig RAM, PLUS a quality graphics card (i.e. a fairly new model of nVidia or ATI). Don't skimp on the graphics card. A nice large flatscreen (i.e. 22-inch) would be advisable too for a better experience.
