Is it possible to change the drive SH IV saves games to? The files are fairly big and I want to try and save it to a different partition other than the c drive

As far as I know they need to be in My Documents although with Multi-SH4 you can make a different 3 character sub-folder like "SHM" for SH4 for example. It is too bad that you can't select where the saved games go if you want them on a different drive or partition....

I wonder if I can cheat it by renaming the drives?

My 'old buddy' Chris Pirillo has this in his archives: http://www.lockergnome.com/windows/2...nd-hard-drive/ that points to this: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/moving_...hard_disk.html and I used this: http://www.techsupportalert.com/how_..._documents.htm Actually it isn't that hard to do..... It worked for me with XP Pro SP3. SH4 didn't skip a beat. My Documents is on my "D" drive now. Happy Hunting! Art Last edited by aanker; 12-27-08 at 11:45 AM. |
