On the right hand side just by the fire torpedo button is an overlay that pops up for navigation. Is there any way to disable that?
Also, when I am in the sonar I still hear the ambient noise (crew muttering/someone writing/hull noises) even when I order rig for silent. This to me does not make any sense. I even pause and then resume and I still hear it. I might as well crank up the gramaphone while I am at it! Any chance of some quiet in 3.0? |

Ambient noise, gramaphone, even a depth check,
have no effect on the AI looking for you. It just does not hear anything but engine noise. Many things can be adjusted, this just may be one of those things that can't. I'll look at some files but I doubt it will help. |

Several things I found.
If you enable Radio Room sounds? It washes over the whole boat. But go to the Hydrophones and you hear only that sound. No ambient from the main sub. I'm still looking at this. :hmm: |

The overlay that pops up when you move your mouse off to the right of the screen just as you get your engineering overlay to come out when you move the mouse to the left. It's a GWX thing only not stock.
