Is this normal? I'm getting dangerous CO2 levels in just 5 hours after submerging. That is ridiculous, the boat should be able to endure some 48 hours without surfacing when considering oxygen supply. I know that the CO2 is prone to cause bugs in SH4, but how comes this??

Hitman,
Five Hours of viable Oxygen is not normal from my experiences with RFB...I don't know the exact supply, but I know that I've been submerged for almost 1.5-2 days w/o having to exchange the air. Best, Voyd |

I notice the CO2 flag pops up at 10%, but it's not dangerous yet.
Have you clicked on the CO2 level indicator at the bottom middle of the screen, or are you talking about the flag icon that pops up at the top right of the screen. Are you sure it's 48hrs submerged in RL - with or without scrubbers?? ![]() |

In 6 hours maximum my boat auto-surfaces
![]() That is surely wrong! I must have a corrupted file, or be doing something wrong ![]() Quote:

In the GameFolder/Data/Menu/Cfg folder and grab the warnings.cfg file and find..
[Warning19] ID=CO2 Category=Warning DurationOnScreen=infinite DurationUntilCanBeDisplayedAgain=0 CommandsWhenClicked= Delete whatever's here BlinkWhenActivated=Yes So you get.. CommandsWhenClicked= What this does is stop your sub from surfacing when you click on the CO2 icon at the top RHS of your screen. There might be other things that RFB have introduced, but I've never come across auto-surfacing as yet. ![]() |
