Still no fix for "bouncing camera"?

This is one I was hoping someone had found a fix for...but a search doesn't show anything. It's unusual, this time, as I can't get it to stop. I've exited and restarted saved mission, I've exited, restarted computer then restarted saved game...no joy. I can hit the "." key and see me, hit it again I see a merchie in the convoy I'm getting ready to pounce on but if I hit the key again the camera goes off on it's weird directions. I was hoping a restart would fix it...I have 8 ships detected on hydrophone so I thought it would scroll through them OK after restarting...no such luck. I don't recall it not being fixed by a restart in my past SH3 life?
