My GWX 2.1. doesn’t speak German. Crewmembers open their mouths but I can’t hear a word, although no problem with waves and diesel sounds . It happened when I changed game language from English to German. Moreover Flack gun sound also disappeared after 2.1. was switched to German. This bug is unswitchable in my case – when I set English back, silence continues. Game uninstall and reinstall doesn’t help. Windows reinstallation is required for bug to repair. I never had such problems in stock SH III and in GWX 2.0.
Maybe a kind soul can help to solve the problem. I’ll be very, very grateful. I’ve downloaded GWX 2.1. from thegreywolvs.com official site via torrent. My OS is Windows Home Edition Russian English SP 2. |

Try full reinstall of sound drivers. This might solve the problem.

Never heard of that error before...
I have always switched the language options in the first startup of the game after installing GWX, then I exite the game and start up again to begin first patrol did you follow the same pattern? makes for a very silent boat though ![]() |

Regardless of whether you use SH3Cmdr or not, you may find this extract from the SH3Cmdr help file relevant...
