Default Silent Hunter 3 Main menu music

Is there any place where I can download the music in the main menu? I uninstalled SH3 a long time ago, and I don't want to install it again just to listen to the music.

I might play SH3 again after a long hiatus, so I've got some few questions just to refresh my memory.

1)Are Type II boats the best for port raiding in SH3? Or is the Type VII equally capable?

2)How do you accurately aim for the engine room (or under the boiler/funnel)? The last time I played, I usually missed it by a slight margin.

I reloaded SH3 twice just last night. It only takes 10 minutes or so.

1) Port raiding is easy in the stock game, no matter what boat. In GWX, not so much. In real life it happened once, and never again, and that once required much planning on the part of BdU, not just a spot decision by a kaleun.

2) I you use automatic targetting, or Weapons Officer assistance, just set up the shot, then unlock the 'scope and aim it for the point you want to hit. If using manual targetting, you'll need to practice some.

Thanks Steve. An interesting snippet of info. After sending my last two torps into a C2 Cargo then watching her carry on as nothing had happened, I think I could've done better...

cheers
Paul
