Would you play a SH3 type game on a consol?

Where you could be on your PS3, connected online, attacking a convoy, and someone like your friend or stranger is controlling a destroyer trying to find and kill you?

Why would one need a console for that? :hmm:

Sure, if it could be made to work with all the same functions as a PC. But the only reason I can see to do it would be so I could lie on the couch and plug it into the TV. But I could also rig a TV connection through my computer and lie on the couch with the keyboard. And sitting at the desk is just as comfortable, so I come back to not having a real reason to.

So I guess I should have said no.

I sure would.

Bluetooth keyboard and mouse means no cables to trip over.

No CTD's or BSOD's. No fiddling with settings to get the FPS just right.

Yes, I would, but wait! I already do.

PS3 + Linux + BT Keyboard/M-Pad + 52in TV FTW.

Consoles are fine for mindless arcade games. Not simulations.

No. Nichts.

All I really want now is that new odor immersion device; the Dial-A-Schtink, that one that PappyCain is "selling" to come in a hands-free model (and preferrably in black, not white), and with a USB port interface, and then I'm all set here playing SH3 on my PC.

Consol woundnt do the game justice, lots of part would have to be cut out cause of lack of buttons and the lack of a mouse.
