Hello everybody! I'm sure somebody else has asked this question already and it has been answered, but this forum is HUGE, and i know the rules, but im not feeling myself as looking in two year old posts.
I've been playing with DW for some time. I prefet avoiding detection, but sometimes i have to make some noise and i get myself running from a torpedo. So far, ive managed to learn how to defeat passive guided torpedoes: passive decoy, dive, and hard 90 degree turn. But active torpedoes are just impossible to me. I can throw a ton of active decoys at them, run away at flank speed, and they always get me.... What do you do when you know you've been shot at with an active torpedo? And more importantly, what do you do when you have an active torpedo locked on you??? Thank you all!! ![]() |

A lot of the time though, there's nothing you can do and you just have to order the crew to don their arm floaties with the little ducks on them. The true secret to avoiding a torpedo is not to get one shot at you in the first place.
