I know that he's a little on edge considering when they did the vote for speaker, which had only two people in the running and none fron ZANU-PF, that the person from MDC got 110 votes while the other person (from the breakaway faction of MDC) got 99 (one member was unable to make it, held by police). MDC has 100 seats, ZANU-PF has 99 seats, a break away faction of MDC has 10, with the remaing seat held by an independant.

Unless all the opposition to the ZANU-PF voted for the MDC person, which is unlikely

, it ment that some of the ZANU-PF voted for MDC! That isn't going to help Mugabe sleep at night!

I think Mugabe should be very careful, there may come a time when even Zanu-PF begin to see him as a liability. If I were Mugabe I'd be watching my back very carefully.

He's in his 80's I thought. I don't think at his age that is much of a threat.
