Game CTD's

I recently bought a new copy from e-bay, and around grid an15, the game just crashes on me! I am about ready to say afew chioce words at my PC

I did not start with an old save, so any ideas on how to fix this problem?

There could be many causes of CTD's. More information might be helpful.

How long were you playing before the CTD?
Has it happened before?
Are you playing stock or with any mods running?
Computer specs?

I've had constant CTD's until recently and discovered they are very likely a cooling issue with my computer.

I was running the game for about 10min. I have not had any cooling issues with my PC. Specs are Pentium 4 processor, 2GB Ram, and a 256MB video card. This is the first time it CTD on this install. mods include the POTD ship mod 2.0 and 2.5 upgrade, and jc steelsharks mod.

Are the POTD ship compatable
That may be your problem

Better to ask in steelshark forum as it their campaign file so they know whats in area at time
