Now see, they aren't blaming the "wealth of western electronic devices", they're blaming Video Games
"Video Games cause violence" doesn't work so they're moving to "Video Games will start World War III"

I read the same about various rare kinds of ore to nbe found in various African conflict zones, which are used by the West for use in aircraft and spece technology. It is a factor listed as a priority for western policies, like access to oil is as well. The mechanism of blood diamonds is being used in regard to many other materials as well. The West has a massive interest in keeping various local conflicts alive for this reason. What is true for Russia and china as well.

You know what would be really interesting? A report on something that doesn't manage to fuel violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

I remember seeing a documentory on the mineral and the the minning of it in Africa awhile back. Many companies try and avoid using it (As the same with "blood" diamonds), but there is always someone who is looking to save a few dollars.
