Boston Dynamics Big Dog.

Found myself both awed by it and a bit disturbed (at how lifelike it was acting/reacting). 0:35 in was especially >

This one's an experiment on a robotic pack mule funded by DARPA, right?:hmm:

They have to add a head so we wouldn't refer it as to "creepy."

Yep! This is the DARPA funded thing. Quite cool really. I remember seeing robots like this years ago and they had nowhere near the same kind of physics and balance ability this one does.

I agree about the head. :rotfl:

That is amazing! The ability to self correct that quickly is very nice.

However I have already submitted a complaint to the ASPCR* for the abuse documented at 0:35.

The wanton kicking of robots can not be tolerated in our country!
