Default While the scottish slept wednesday night sc

While 75% of the UK was asleep wednesday night a little known event happened, one that could cause embarrasment and uproar in the international comunity.

Submarine K-267 quietly snuck into the harbour of Rosyth to investigate claims that the UK was refitting old polaris missile boats into trident submarines to act as a standby should they be called.

At 1400 in the afternoon The captain of K-267 slowly drove his submarine into british waters and eventually right outside the harbour, this would be one of the longest creeps ever conducted by this captain and would certainly be the most dangerous yet.

Golden hour was 2000 light would be fading making the periscope harder to detect and giving perfect light on some of the activities going on.
with less than a meter of water under the keel we the captain krept in closer and closer till he could go no further untill he was one and a half miles from the dock.

There before him lay three nuclear submarines and two old destroyers, but that wasnt all an while before hand he nearly was ran down by a patroling type 23 frigate why the need of ASW cover in a scrap yard?

Data was collected and then the submarine slowly backed away exiting backwards out of the harbour and back passed the ASW defence ship, after reaching international waters the captain radioed back to moscow "all is fair" the code word to say mission completed, we were orderd to standby where to next i wonder?

Some of the pictures from the creep:

The type 23 on ASW patrol in the bay

The airport on the base looks newly built

Some of the "mothballed" ships with submarines in the distance

How close? 2.375 miles in a depth of 19 meters notice the sail is showing !
