Best mods to download ?

Hi Guys:hmm:
Not long playing SH3 and i spend every spare hour i have playing and downloading mods to try (pure addict ),a few guestions i would like to ask my fellow u boat captains and get your valued experience ?.
This is the computer i am using and is not a branded one.
AMD Athlon 64 processor 4000+ (2.40 ghz)
2 gb of ram
Radeon x1300 series vid card (i think it has 256 ram)
1/ game freezes a lot when i speed up to 2048 on time compression
2/sometime crashes to desktop and i have to reload game it asks do i want to send info to microsoft on crash !
3/ what would the best mods to instal to improve the game effect i have all patches and GWX 2.0 and a mod enabler.i would take a snap shoot of what mods i have and list them but i dont know how to

not very good on that sort of thing.

PS do you think computer is up to it or am i overdoing the mods
