Default Creatures?

I was wondering if there was some kind of mod for creatures? Y'know fish and whales etc. And is there a mod for mythical creatures aswell? Imagine fighting off a huge squid with the deck gun.

in GWX there are dolphins and pilot whales, but no schools of fish, or schools of fish that float to the surface dead from depth charge explosions, I suppose a great white whale breaching might be fun eye candy once in a while.

I know it isn't very realistic but it would really test your captain skills.

I hate it when such threads pop up!

Cuz they remind me that I still have never seen a Whale or a Dolphin in my GWX game....ever

I have not seen the whale yet, but dolphins are in bergen, norway. and hanging around brest, france. They can be heard in the hydrophone, I'm thinking the whales would be up near the Rosengarten and the artic regions.

I think it would be spooky to hear whale noises on the hydrophone at a deep depth. Your mind will play tricks on you. It would be really atmospheric.

This is a nice site for whale songs: http://www.whalesong.net/index.php. I like to have it playing in the background sometimes.

I see and hear dolphins in Brest and whales in Arctic.

If you like to know my wishes, I would some penguins in Antartica and a great octopus in mid Atlantic!

Regards.

It would make an interesting gameplay element. Good to hear your opinion none the less.

I'd like to see Polar Bears or Seals up in the northern areas.

Maybe even on some of the Iceburgs?

I'd like to see the Kraken. Sure it's Semi-Mythical, but you could go 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea on it with your deck gun.

I'd like to see ANYONE do some new animations!
Or even fix some old ones.
We've laid out how to do it.
TheTools are out there.
But VERY few have ever done it!
So this is a 'wish' thread once again.

We need a new tag.
REL, WIP, and so forthe.
Maybe AGH?
Ain't Gonna Happen

The Rosengarten was between the Faroes, Shetlands, and Orkney islands. This is a choke point for U-Boats leaving Norway or Germany for patrol, or going to France. or returning from patrols. A very heavily patrolled area and dangerous, the cluster of islands looked like a rose garden on the map. The Long way is North and around through the Iceland straights the disadvantage in summer, too much daylight, in winter too dark for submerged attacks. (The Faroes are notorious for Pilot Whales which is what we have in GWX )
