random radio room pics

hi

is it possible...using commander to have changing radioroom pinups in my type 9?

if so how would i go about doing this?

ive got a "rusty"skin mod installed.....does this matter.

and finaly...how do you get the pin ups so clear...mine seem blocky.

do i convert to a specific format when editing. then revert back to tga.

I believe TarJak and possibly one or two others have already created a mod for this.

You might try the search function or possibly just try swapping the posters for girlie photos.

The first thing you need is Tikigod's 50 Pinup Girls Mod, or the pinups you want edited into the proper Druck_Radio format for each sub. Then you need to go into SH3 Commander's Random folder and create a folder for each picture. Commander will handle up to 100 folders as far as I know, numbered 0-99.

Inside each numbered folder should be a folder labeled Date.

Each Date folder should have the same date inside: 19390801 if you're using GWX 2.1, and 19390901 if you're not.

Inside each of those should be the following folders: Data/Textures/TNormal/tex

Each 'tex' folder should have one pinup that you want to appear in each radio room of each u-boat type.

Someone else will have to explain how to create your own pictures in the radio room - that one is beyond me. I can only tell you how to randomize them.

Oh good! All you have to do is add the correct path and the pictures to each folder. Since there are only 50 pictures you'll need to have each pinup in two different folders, or have a default one you like for each boat, since sometimes it will try go access a folder that doesn't have one.

Or find more pictures and figure out how to make your own Druck files.

no..seriously though....the different load screens are excellent......variety and all that
