Default Been out of the game for a while...

Last time I played GWX was just released and I see here that there has been a section installation into it and it looks absolutely amazing. So amazing in fact that i'm thinking I want to get back into my Uboat.

Only problem is my computer sucks, been toying with the idea of doing an upgrade but i'm limited by my current lack of disposable cash. If I had the cash i'd just buy a new computer but I don't have enough to actually do it.
was thinking of upgrading my video card (ATI 9250) and ram (which i've noticed has dropped in price considerably in the 18 months since i last thought about upgrading). Another limitation is that for some reason my Motherboard only has PCI slots (no APG and definitely not a PCI-e) so I was thinking of getting ATI x1300 (PCI version obviously).

Would this be able to run GWX without serious issues?

My current set up is:
3.0 ghz PIV
512 ram (going to 2 gigs)
ATI 9250 video card 128 mb(upgrade to ATI x1300 256 mb)

Thoughts?

RAM and video card will help. With similar specs to yours I ran GWX 2.1 just fine; the only real problem being frame rates in port or with heavy smoke. I currently have 2 Gigs of RAM and a 256 card, and it works quite well.

Im running a 2.4GHz Dual-core with 2GB of RAM and a 512MB card, which works just fine for me. You setup will work well, but do go for 2GB of RAM, as you will need it when in port as your framerate will drop.
