My effect on campaign

Hi

Last time I was wondering if my game has any effect on campaign. I have played Falcon AF for very long time. The one of the most exciting thing was that you had effect on some part of campign, example: when I destroyed a tank column which order was to capture a bridge, this bridge was safe. I know that in SH one small sub can't win the war but example: if I sink carrier or any other importent target will this have any effect on campaign in future ?

I play with RSRD mod.
