PLC GUI Uber - Is there a way to only use the enemy visibl part?

I just started using OLC Uber, upgraded from OLC GUI. There are a few things that don't seem to be working well with my computer (or I don't prefer). The one thing I like about OLC uber is the visibility range on enemy ships.

The things that I'm not likeing with olc uber is
1_ the sun looks like a golf ball in the sky
2_ map contact updates only appear at 125 km range on the map. Any closer, I can't even see the circle for my own sub
3) A few others I can't remember.

I liked OLC GUI, but not sure the uber is working well, but hate to lose the visibility range on enemy ships.
