I D/L jsgme and look foward to using it, however I went to the FF site to download the RSRDC_V14.7z file and still wont allow Me to D/L it. comes up with a window staiting" the server replies that you dont have permissions to download this file." under that, it states under details: HTTP/1.1 403 access Forbidden.
I am at a loss as to why I cant download ???????

Few reccomendations:

Don't download trigger maru or the real fleet boat right off the bat- play vanilla for a while.

Practice your manual TDC skills at least twice a week. It really does help.

Get ROW and all the goodies. Dave did a WONDERFUL job on that- make sure his work lives on in your install.

If you have any problems, don't hesitate to ask- this group of guys is one of the most helpful communities I've ever seen. With their help, you'll have salt water flowing through your veins, getting 40K of tonnage a patrol in no time

Ty for the advise. altho Im D/L'ing them, Im not planning on inserting them just yet. I want to get to know the game better( maybe a little wine, some dancing....then who knows.) LOL

I've been away for a while so I'm not too clear on the latest Pacific Environments. One of the other skippers will be along shortly to fill ya in if you need to know.

ROW stands for "Reflections On the Water"- A guy named Leovampire (referenced above by his real name "Dave") totally blew everyone out of the water with his work. It made the water a reflective surface, made sunsets beautiful, and a whole slew of other special effects. The guy's a hero in the SH4 modding community. Unfortunately, he's no longer with us, hence my urging to use his work

I was able to download TMO and I was so Impressed with it. I am still learning the game,so I desided to uninstall TMO till I have a better Feel for the game. as I was trying out TMO, I couldnt help but feel like, through the TMO mod I was getting to know the creators of TMO, esp LeoVampire.
