Is risk for health what makes a "delicacy"?

Some people's eating manners I consider to be absurd - the more expensive, the more absurd it becomes, seems to be the golden rule.

I admit - eating your own pet sounds more exciting anyway.

It is taste and the simple fact that you want what you can't have or what is forbidden over what you can have. It makes it that much more alluring and probably makes it taste all the sweeter!

Risk is an incredibly attractive quality in some areas.
