Default using 2.1 with olc gui 123: 'kiel out' is above canal on land ?

hi hunters

have a problem. cant upload photo from imageshack to show you so i'll try to explain.

1. have upgraded to 2.1gwx have installed olc gui 123.
carreer start 1939 kiel. wanted a viib ended up with a type iia ? made sure sh3comm. and ingame were the same with dates and boat.

2. start in kiel with 'start patrols at sea' and find kiel start point itself is in the baltic and when i go for 'kiel out' the path of the canal runs over ground, above canal ?

do any of you have an idea what is happening

whish i had the picture. if i can get one i will

cheers

as you can see, its higher than canal - wondering if 'start patrol at sea' has this effect?

The Kiel canal autoroutes are NOT for the start at sea option
They are designed to be used when the boat starts in the dock

Ummm you did start at sea
Well as far from the port as SH3 will allow anyway

Not really start at sea as start outside of port
Game limitations am afraid

I think you can use a smal trick to get the correct canal pas:
1 go to nav map and select the waypoint tool
2 Make 1 waypoint in the sub pen (normal startposition very important)
3 select the kanal out waypoint generator
4 delete the waypoints you don''t need (waypoint in the subpen)
5 follow the waypoints ...

This should work I did use it in GWX2.0 several times.

Please post if it doesn't cause I haven't been playing for a while due to PC problems
