Any Destroyer Based Games in the Future?

Curious if anyone knows of plans by any game developers to make another destroyer game. I used to have Destroyer command way back when it was compatible with Silent Hunter I. I enjoy SH4 immensely, don't get me wrong, but I sometimes miss the surface warfare aspect of the whole simulation.

Or, has anyone made a mod to SH4 where you can captain a destroyer? Just wondering.

I keep hoping that there will be a Destroyer Command 2. Seems overdue. No sign of it so far.

If you have SH3, Mikhayl is working on an awesome S-boot mod. Check it out in the SH3 Mod forums.

I still have Destroyer Command, new in the box from when it was first released!! I don't think I ever opened it! And it was supposed to be able to be played with SH2. I could never get into SH2 and just never got around to installing DC. Maybe someday! :p

I am hoping for a more inclusive surface ship sim, destroyers, cruisers, battleships and even carriers.

Found myself wondering about the Destroyer Command 2 possibility again. Is there anything out there that would be the next best thing to destroyer command? In everyone's opinion, what is the best WWII surface warfare game out right now?
