Default Told not to attack convoy??

I have been patrolling BE55,it is where I find the most tonnage to sink,so I usually pick this spot, but I surfaced to charge bats and got a message,to U67 convoy in BE55 is not to be attacked,we think it is a decoy convoy and could be a trap..Something along these lines.I am in U67 and BE55,is this just coincidence?
I rarelly see a convoy going through there, mostly single or two in a small convoy, mostly tankers and troop ships.
I found it interesting,it was like I was getting an order,it gave it a more realistic feel

Radio messages are usually only to add some more realism in SH3.
You have any mods instaled?
Could be only only coincidence, 'cause once I got a message that my uboot was lost.

Probably done for realism. Read recently that the Allies did in fact deploy decoy convoys in the Atlantic to entice u-boats to attack with the aim of trapping and sinking them.

Yep, those things happen. During my last patrol I received a message from myself to myself telling me that I'm shadowing a convoy regardless of not having seen a single ship for ages

So yeah, those messages are for immersion and realism only...

I usually ignore big targets in route to my patrol grid, except if the target is very valuable, like big ships or warships.
