how to record a video

i was wondering how do i go about recording a video in SH4? i dont really need to do any of that fancy editing stuff, just the baiscs.

Buy FRAPS and check if you got Windows Movie Maker on your PC to make a basic film.

Fraps records all your stuff and WMM is where you edit it into your film and Bobs your uncle.

You can also use Hyper Cam 2 with decent success. If you like what you get, FRAPS records with higher quality and is easier to adjust to your liking. Hyper Cam 2 has a decent free version and will let you know if your equipment is up to the job and whether you like the process.

ive downloaded easy screen capture, which would i start first in order to record in SH4?

There you go, off in a different direction again! OK, first, you don't have to pay for great screen capture programs. I use MWSnap3, which does anything a paid for program will to. But like Easy Screen Capture it won't do movies, just screen shots. SH4 already does those, but MWSnap3 lets you do partial screens like

For movies, I suggest you follow the advice above. And don't wander off the straight and narrow or we'll have to pull out the leash!:rotfl:
