Purple Hearts?

Why do I get awarded a purple heart every other patrol? I do not recall being wounded.

Also, is there a 'Medal of Honor' in the game? I've gotten several medals of valors, but no Medal of Honor.

On my 7th patrol with version 1.5 an gotten 6 Medal of Honor medals. I'll trade you some....
