You only need to look at Display Manager and 3D settings in CCC. Ps. You should think about a better monitor, that 4850 coupled with a decent Cpu and enough ram can do alot better. I have a 3850 and my 3 years old AMD 64 3800+ single core is dragging my card down. |

Thanks!
I have a DQ 8400 processor and 2GBDDR3-1000 RAM and I am about to change my monitor now. My only concern is if I will be able to "see" SH3 in 4:3 on a 16:10 monitor (you know with the black borders) in order to avoid stretching and right now I am messing with the settings for this reason!

Regarding the aspect ratio I do not know. My monitor is a 19" Lcd LG at 1280/1024, so 4:3 aspect ratio is fine

Thought I'd mention that the CCC is a big drain on resources, I have removed it & use Tray Tools, the beta version has a much better fan control for the HD 48XX cards and less resources.

Really? Do they have a function to "squeeze" a 16:10 TFT screen to some or directly 4:3 ?

Squeezing a 4:3 aspect ratio in 16:10 will result in distorting the image by enlargement

NTSC is the Video system used in America. PAL is the Video sytem used in the UK. |

![]() There is an option like that in Ati Tray Tools(Perserve aspect ratio in the above pic), but for me and several other Ati+TFT-monitor users it's greyed out(unaccessible) for an unknown reason. The only option to get an undistorted SH3 is to run it in windowed mode, which is locked to a 1024x768 sized window, or use this method to run it in a custom sized window. |
