Ok so I was back to modding shiv and was working on a composite mod
package for my own install. somewhere along the way I have missed something and I am not able to find out what or where. heres the deal. I have just changed basic torpedo loadout on balao and went to set up a mission with a balao and a single target to test with. when I put the sub in in mission editor the sub chosen was Balao and its info in ME read correctly. but when booting up the game its giving me Gar class everytime (4xnow with testing) sadly no easy fix when I put in gar it wont give me balao it still gives me gar. the dats etc in the balao sub file are the right ones the balao roster dates are correct the display names are correct I am baffled and need some suggestions...........anyone? ps. the modpack is too extensive to describe in detail but isnt the issue as such, however for the record its a fusion into a single install of compatable RFB ROW and RSRDC versions with a few fixes, guages ,SD Radar etc. |

Double check that your sub's entry date in the mission editor is at our a little before mission start time. That's usually where I was having problems. Also, make sure the entry date is after the sub's availability date.

The dates were good too, I am wondering if my ME is reaching
the wrong install for parts and saving the missions in the correct install but I am uncertain because atm the install in question is the naturally named default Ubisoft\SilentHunterIV Woves of the pacific Still baffled its possible that months ago I did something thats causing the misdirection this is the install that the tutorial was done on.
