and a brit sub? what the hell was that doing as an escort? apparently the RN thinks highly of its submariners....

If one is to presume your playing GWX....then yes, some convoys were escorted/screened by submarines during the war, in anticipation of large surface warship attacks

I'll see if I can upload the pictures of me andd the Sub duking it out with the deck guns in the middle of the convoy....

It did them a lot of good actually.....the German 'heavies' rarely sortied out from their safe havens
