Can the SH4 German voices patch be used with the U-Boats add-on?

I'm sure this has been asked.

I'm ver dissappointed that the voices are English in the U-boats.

yeah there is a patch for it! it changes them all to the Silent Hunte 3 voices. but there are stil some that are still in eglish but very few. i dnt kno where the link is for it! should be on this page or the 2nd page of the forum.

The official German speechpack for SH4 can only be installed on pre-1.5 (possibly even pre-1.4) versions of SH4. It is not meant as an addition, but as a replacement for the English speech. Best way to obtain German voices is to use the Spax speechpack in its latest version (V7 I think); install with JSGME and enable it when playing U-Boote, disable it when playing US subs. The Spax speechpack is based on the SH3-GWX pack.
