Default Problem with firing torpedoes

Hi all, First post here.

I had been playing SHIV for some time now and have used various mods over time.

I decided to try some of the supermods which I have not done before.

First I completely wiped SHIV from my 'puter and did a Fresh install.
I then patched to 1.4
Then I installed via JCGME the current version of RFB for the 1.4 version
I then installed via JSGME the RSRD version for RFB 1.4

I started a new career and I was having trouble with my firing solutions. No matter how well I worked to get a good firing solution, the computer kept sending my Fish about 30 degrees off target BEHIND the target ship. Firing from 90 degrees AOB and 800yds and still my torps pass about 500 yds behind the ship.

I tried again this time disabling the manual targeting and going for a lesser realism and still the same thing. Fish keep passing behind. At this point playing the game is IMPOSSIBLE because the fish will always miss no matter what.

I tried then to install the mod for the Japanese ship dimention fix.
Started a new career and I hit just fine....

Until I load a saved game (or even continue a game after having saved but not loaded)

Then those damn fish keep passing astern again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any Ideas?
Right now the game is IMPOSSIBLE to play and I am at wits end and frustrated as all get out!

Default Sounds like your installation is OK

Try this: Turn off the PK. Sight the periscope at zero and press the send range/bearing button. Set speed to zero. Set AoB to zero. Select tube 1. Check out your attack screen. What bearing is the torpedo path pointed towards? Should be zero.

Now set AoB to 90 starboard. Set speed to 10 knots. What bearing is the torpedo track now?

The answers will determine whether your TDC is operating properly. If it is, then you have a procedural problem and we go to the next step.

RR- RFB doesn't give you the torpedo track on the plot.

Haven't heard this problem before. And the dimension fix is actually part of RFB.

Are you linig up the stadimeter per the red mark in the recognition manual? Because RFB uses the Ship Centered Accuracy Fix, you need to have the stadimeter lined up to the correct feature on the ship.

Will see if I can duplicate this issue.
