Default [REL] SH3 guns for SH4

This mod adds all guns from SH3 to SH4 so if you convert ships to SH4 all you need to do is enable the mod, you could also put the SH3 guns on any existing SH4 ship. It does not affect any guns that are allready in SH4.
Enable with JSGME or put the files in their places.

The names of your files conflict with files using the same name in RSRDC. Please rename your files to something else.

You know you don't have to do a sequential nameing order to those files, Right?
You can name them
My_Baby_Blue.dat and the game engine does not care.

I think Lurkers worked his tail off trying to make RSRD as best as he can, and has been spawning multiple versions of the same mod. Something which, i would NEVER attempt to do, its just too much work!

So, the file conflict i think (sounds like) it would have probably made his head pop when user started complaining (again), and he'd have to update his mod (again), for ALL the various versions hes created in the spirit of cooperation with everyone. I guess what im trying to say is, cut the man some slack if ya can!

Hi Miner1436,

Your "converted" SH3_Guns also conflict with the guns_radar_02.dat, same guns in both .Dat`s with different Textures; i.e. = The 4_7InchDoubleT in your guns_radars_04.dat used the embedded turele.tga-Textures in the guns_radars_02.dat all guns used the guns_radars_T01.tga;guns_radars_02_O01.tga/guns_radars_T01.dds;guns_radars_02_O01.dds,
also for i.e. the AA_Guns will not have any Crew, because in SH4 there is no Weapon_Crew.dat. All doubble guns_entries has to be delete in your .DAT, beleave me, i`d has this Problem long time ago with my private SH4_MOD. You simply cannot cut, paste and rename the SH3-guns.dat for SH4. Always look in the .dat`s or better test it before you release it. I appricate your intensions, but it`s not so simply as you thought. Sorry for my bad English.

where do we get ex-SH3 ships from. I would like to be able to add them to my SH4 but have no idea how to.

If your talking about SH3 ships you need to have SH3 installed, then you can simply copy and paste the files, the ships work but need name modification and guns, also the wakes and reflections can use some tweaking.
