wow hard to believe that it has been 27 years <wheeze>
I remember about 20 years ago, the Air Force was going to retire my beloved F4 because its airframe was over 35 years old. I was thinking "hey MY airframe is over 35 years old I wonder if they are going to retire ME?" ![]() At least my BUFFs are still a flyin. All is right with the airspace. 27 years? Sheesh, to me the F117 was one of them "new" aircraft in our inventory <reaching for the geritol> God I am old ![]()

I can remember when the F-104 was the hot new thing. And yeah, you're right: the Big Ugly Fat *&#^@( is only two years younger than me, and it's still in the air.
