Question re: Cobalt's VIIC/41

I've got a question regarding Cobalt's playable VIIC/41. I want to install it into my SH3 Mods folder which was created when I installed JSGME. The mod comes with 2 folders (Submarine & another one that I can't remember off hand). The mod instructions say to place the 2 folders into a 3rd folder named U41MOD/DATA. Unfortunately that folder doesn't exist & Windows won't let me create a folder with a / in the name. Long story short, what should I name the new folder so that I can cut & paste the 2 folders that came with the mod & then drop the whole lot in to the SH3 Mods folder.

Thanks in advance...

Extracted from a post at cobalt's release Thread:
"You should have ONE d/loaded .RAR file named "CobaltsVIIC.rar"

When you un-RAR this (WinRAR is the correct prog for that job!), you will find ONE folder named "CobaltsVIIC41".
Within that folder there is another folder called "CobaltsVIIC41", and inside that there are TWO subfolders and a "readme" pdf.

The subfolders are called "Submarine" and "Textures"

For the SH3 Commander method......

Place the Subfolders "Submarine" and "Textures" into the folder "SH3Commander/Uboat/VIIC41/data" folder (on your SH3Cmdr installation)

Check that there are now THREE subfolders in there (Roster, Submarine, Textures)

Now when you use SH3Cmdr to start up SH3, if you have a VIIC/41 selected during the correct war period, you will find Cobalt's VIIC/41 as your Uboat!!!

If you prefer the JSGME method......

Make a new folder named "CobaltsVIIC41" or whatever you like, and place it in your "Mods" folder (in your SH3 installation).
Make a new folder named "data" within.
Place the "Submarine" and "Textures" folders into your new "data" folder.
Activate your new "CobaltsVIIC41" Mod through JSGME in the usual way.
The included installation instructions provided by Cobalt work perfectly well!
Hope this helps!"
didn't see who wrote this info, but i think this is what you were looking for.

Hi Murr44,

Agree with you 100%. CobaltVIIC is such a fine skin, looks great on the green Atlantic Ocean
I have been using it since I have started GWX2.0, a few months ago and have no intention to change. With some rusty effect on it, so realistic !

I haven't actually used Cobalt's VIIC/41 yet as I just grabbed it the other day. I was having a little trouble following the mod's instructions. CapZap sorted it out for me though.
As for the GWX mod; I have slow poke dial-up so it would take me 20 years to download it. It might cause my game to screw up too (I had enough trouble getting it to work with Vista so I don't want to take any chances ). So it's just stock SH3 with SH3 Commander & JSGME.
