Olc Gui mod question ?

Greetings fellow Captains

I have only recently started to play Sh3 and to which i am thoroughly enjoying it please excuse my ignorance but i have a question regarding the Olc gui mod , Can you activate and play the mod without having installed a supermod ? , I have only the stock version of the game also , i am having a little trouble finding the sh3 1.4b patch so i can update to the latest version if anyone can give me a link to a reliable download that would be great , also where do i get my hands on those slideable protracters or any other handy nav map tools?

have you tried the search function?

U-jagd tools maybe?

anyhow, OLC GUI has an attack disck, dragable nomograph, dragable depth thingy (to use when reading the charts) and a cool compas to know the real course of targets.

OLC GUI is THE thing if you want to go 100% manual targetting imho

took me a bit to get into it and understand... and I am still working on the finesse of the toll to get most accurate shots but I guess in reality it was the same ... you simply can not hit 100% exact where you want compared with the "auto-solution" of the WO or 100% autotargetting
