Meh, it was fun for ten minutes. The sub speeds up and slows down too fast, I think.
And the top speed's not high enough, 23 knots for a 688(i)? And that seriously lowers my ability to lay it over on turns. ![]() And don't even get me started on the ballast tanks! Emergency blow my ass, it barely even affected the sub! I'd bring it to 67 feet, raise periscope for two minutes, then commence a "low pressure blow". I don't think blowing the ballast even had an effect? But all-in-all, not too bad. Thanks for the link. ![]()

It has some nice details .. like bubbles going from bottom when hitting high pressure blow. All the bubbles are pretty anyway.
But the controls are awful, especially camera controls. |
