Did you guys noticed the some screenies shown in the preview before the game came out simply was not there in the real thing?

Look at those operation plan or officer profile screenshots. Were they simply not implemented in the final release? :hmm:

I was thinking the exact same thing. Those graphics files aren't even in the game anywhere, as far as I can tell.

The screens aren't there, but the functions basically are, and they're actually a bit more, well... functional. I'll take the stuff actually working over fancy-but-cluttery look there any day

Two pictures say Special Abilities Folder, so perhaps the screen appears only when you hire a sailor with special abilities.

It was probably an early concept, but maybe it didn't work out as expected and so it was reduced to a basic, functional role? The officer profiles look like they are on the captain's desk in port, since there is a telephone in view.

Maybe they we're planning to have historical famous U-Booters, but changed it later to the random-hero system we have now (Atleast, i think it's random)

As for the Operational Plan thing, It looks like they we're planning Wolfpacks, also patrolling specific Shipping Lines (Or, maybe i'm just misreading it)

When the game is finished, it is send to the marketing department to let people know about the product.

So they take screenshots and create other artworks that are being sent to the game websites out there.

Now, these websites have only one section for images in the game's page and that section is called Screenshots and that's not always correct.
