Hi everyone,
I know you guys are mostly hardcore realism buffs, but I don't enjoy spending 15+ minutes dodging planes as I run home with no torps. Is there a mod or a way to just jump back to my home port after using up all my fish? Shivermtmbrs |

None that I know of, but the subject has been brought up several times. It was in the original Silent Service (Amiga), and maybe Silent Hunter I. Agreed that it takes alot of time to return to port even at 2048 TC. I've uploaded a bunch of Inner Sanctum Mysteries (1941-1945) to FileFront for your listening pleasure if you might be interested in making a new radio channel for your sub. At least those are more interesting than listening to the looping music. Let me know, and I'll give you the web address where these are available.

I dont know of a mod that zaps you back to base in an instant
but one could try to modificate the starting points. ie. make the sub spwawn closer to japan Takes eons to get home but those Radio and Music addons takes the cake. ![]() |
